Current JSD administrators are eligible for principal assignment consideration at any time, however Cabinet will conduct an optional interest interview every four years for current administrators in the district.

Steering Committee Meetings will host secondary school lead counselors at the Jordan School District (JSD) Offices. If the lead counselor is unable to attend, they should send a representative from their school team to the meeting in their place. 

Counselors and representatives assigned to work with the CSCP budget should attend each scheduled meeting.

Two virtual Drill Preparation trainings will be held back-to-back on the first Wednesday of each month. You may choose from one of the following times:
3:00 PM  
3:30 PM. 
The ZOOM LINK will remain the same for each session throughout the year. School Safety Specialists and Administrators over safety are expected to attend. Other administrators or interested employees are always welcome as well.

It is recommended that ESPs who will be assessing Acadience Reading measures (either progress monitoring in grades K-6 or benchmark testing in grades 4-6) be trained on test administration procedures on an annual basis.  There are both in-person and virtual training options.  Elementary school administrators are asked to pass this training information on to relevant ESP employees in their buildings as well as any others who may want more Acadience Reading assessment training.
Participants should bring the touchscreen device they will use to test students.
